YOGA FOR EVERYBODY

All bodies and brains are unique. That’s why I offer so many different styles of yoga, meditations and pose variations. I’m here as your guide, but no one knows what it’s like to live inside your body except YOU. My classes empower you to make choices that are right for your own experience and invite you to embrace the wholeness of who you are right here in the present moment. All of my classes are also taught with a trauma-sensitive approach. My goal is to help you to feel safe in your body and in your yoga practice with the hope that these teachings will spill out into your daily life.

One of the ways I help you create a sense of safety in your body is by working intentionally with the nervous system and vagus nerve through yoga, breath work and meditation. Regulating the nervous system this way can help reduce symptoms of stress or trauma, balance hormones, reduce chronic pain and fatigue, boost immunity, promote mental health and help you to manage POTS or other chronic illness symptoms.


MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Rachel Marie is a certified yoga instructor who specializes in yoga for chronic pain, chronic illness and trauma recovery. She’s also a certified reiki master and experienced tarot card reader. Yoga with Rachel isn’t about “fixing” yourself or getting into perfect shapes. It’s about coming home to yourself in the present moment and realizing that who you are right now is always enough.
