Mindful Embodiment Practice with Amy Davies | Yoga Off The Mat
Amy is an Embodiment Coach, Yoga Teacher and Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator, based in the north of England. She works both locally and online. She specialises in supporting people experiencing persistent pain, fatigue, stress and/or burnout through 1:1 coaching and a variety of movement and meditation classes.
In this video she talks about the yogic concept of Svadhyaya. This can be thought of as ‘self study’. She reflects on how this can include self reflection and an attitude of being curious about your experiences. This includes allowing yourself to feel your emotions at an embodied level. In part 2, Amy guides you through a RAIN meditation which helps you connect to feelings in an accepting, kind and compassionate way.
